It’s been a little over 6 months since I first tried Walmart’s new Grocery Pickup and it’s been a game changer for me! I never shopped at Walmart because the store was disorganized and I had a hard time finding products. Lines were long, and the savings wasn’t worth the time I spent in the store, with two little ones. But, my only other option was Publix and they were priced so high, it was killing my grocery budget. I really wanted to take advantage of Walmart’s low prices on organic, gluten-free and other groceries.
Thankfully, a friend told me about Walmart’s free grocery pickup. I was skeptical, but I gave it a try. I ordered my groceries online here, set a time to pick them up then arrived in the dedicated parking space for grocery pickup. I timed it, because I figured I’d be there forever waiting, but I was there a total of 6 minutes! They had my order ready and loaded up within that time.
They also gave me a welcome bag filled with grocery samples and full size products on my first visit. Since then, I use them at least weekly. This saves me so much time as I now order the bulk of my perishables from there. They have so many organic produce items at the best prices seen as well as vegan milks and butter, gluten free products like Van’s and Udi’s, Great Value organic store brand products from broth to peanut butter and so much more. Their site is super user friendly for finding groceries I didn’t even know they carried! Search by brand or just type in organic or Great Value to see different product offerings. It’s saved me money by not shopping at Publix and I can also price compare products from my computer (rather than in store with kids). I also love that I can easily find and add to my cart personal care products, craft products, household and more, without traipsing through their huge store.
If it’s your first time trying Walmart’s Grocery Pickup, you can go here and score $10 off your first $50 order! I highly recommend trying it at least once, especially if you have kids or work (order and pickup after work).
Have you tried their grocery pickup? How do you like it?
