200 Million Eggs Recalled at Walmart and other stores

There’s been a huge egg recall alert issued, with over 200 million eggs recalled.

I took a look at the list found on the FDA’s site and many of the eggs are from Walmart, under the Great Value label as well as eggs from Food Lion and other brands sold by Rose Acre Farms.

So far, there are 9 states affected, including Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia (it appears other states are now included so be sure to check your UPC codes here to make sure you don’t have any, no matter what state you live in).

We’re in Florida and we buy organic eggs from Walmart, but it appears the organic varieties from Walmart are not included in the recall as only the Great Value Walmart store brand is showing as recalled, not the Marketside that the organic eggs are sold under.
