Aldi is quickly becoming my new favorite store! While most of us think of Whole Foods as the place to shop when looking for natural and organic foods, Aldi is quickly becoming an equal in this area. Over the past few years, they’ve added their Simply Nature line, which includes over 35 certified organic products as well as numerous natural products. They’ve also introduced a large line of gluten-free products, Livegfree, as well as “Never Any” antibiotic and preservative-free deli meats and their newest line, Green Action eco-friendly cleaning products.
Aldi has just announced that in addition to all of this, in 2015, they are committing to remove MSG, trans fats and synthetic colors from all of their exclusive brand products.
I’m so excited at the positive changes that keep happening at Aldi, and their commitment to maintaining low prices on these products!
In my price comparisons, Aldi comes in as having the lowest base prices on their natural and organic products. At this time, they do not accept manufacturer coupons, but their prices are significantly lower than their competitors.
Given this news, will you begin shopping at Aldi more frequently?
Your LiveGFree Chicken Noodle soup has MSG, and so do many other products of your’s. I hope that changes in the future. I live the prices but still cant buy because of ingredients. Glad Aldi’s is thinking about it though.
As of 2017, the Specially Selected Ciabatta Sandwich Rolls still have hydrogenated oils. Really disappointing as they make the perfect sandwich bread, but refuse to buy.
