We own a reverse osmosis system similar to this, and I HIGHLY recommend using a system like this. Reverse osmosis is the only water filtration system that removes contaminants like fluoride, lead, heavy metals, bacteria, arsenic and chlorine. Carbon filters (ie Brita) are extremely weak and remove very few contaminants.
