I found a bunch of new natural and organic deals at Costco on my latest trip! Costco has some of the lowest prices seen on healthier foods, so if you have a membership, consider stocking up on the items you want below as products can change frequently there.
I was most excited about the addition of Costco brand organic peanut butter (they previously just had the natural option), as it contains just salt and peanuts and is available at a hot price!

I haven’t seen the nuts for nature cashew butter at our local Costco store for a while now 🙁
Anyone know why?
Hi! Let me share with you my experience with Culinary Treasures Organic Vegetable Broth that Costco is carrying. I hope I’ll save you time, money, and frustration!! 🙂
This product is absolutely awful – and I mean AWFUL! It is thin, weak, watery, flavorless, . . . .unless you count the very overly sweet taste of sugar. This product has cane sugar added to it and pear juice (who adds sugar and pear juice to their broth when they’re making it at home? – no one!) This makes this “broth” overly sweet and sugary. It tastes closer to a summer sweet drink than a nice rich flavorful vegetable broth. Arecent review of easily-available vegetable broths was done by Kitchin and they chose Imagine as the best vegetable broth (and I have to say that I agree with them).
Don’t bother to waste your time and money on this very weak product. Spend a few more cents and get a really great vegetable broth. Unfortunately, Costco isn’t doing us any favors by stocking this product. Their only measure of a product seems to be cost – quality doesn’t seem to mean much to them. Yes, it’s organic. More correctly, it’s organic sugar water with a slight hint of a vegetable somewhere in there. Costco can do better. And they should!
