Is anyone else in love with Immaculate Baking’s crescents and cinnamon rolls? Did you know that Trader Joe’s also sells a “Trader Joe’s” brand refrigerated crescents, biscuits and cinnamon rolls? Well, I have a strong suspicion that Immaculate Baking makes these for Trader Joe’s as they taste exactly the same and have the same inner packaging. So, I was curious to do a price comparison to see if Trader Joe’s really is cheaper in some areas (we already found out here that they come in quite high on their organic food staples pricing). Here’s what I found:
Trader Joe’s Crescents: $2.49
Trader Joe’s Biscuits: $2.99
Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Rolls: $3.99
Immaculate Baking Crescents: $3.99*
Immaculate Baking Biscuits: $4.49*
Immaculate Baking Cinnamon Rolls: $4.69*
Trader Joe’s definitely comes in way ahead on their store brand products compared to the retail price of Immaculate Baking products. Immaculate Baking frequently offers coupons and when paired with a sale, you may come out about the same on price, but if you are a frequent buyer of these products and don’t want to wait for coupons, Trader Joe’s is the way to go for these product.
