I just placed my first order with Amazon Prime Pantry! Amazon generally sells items in bulk, but with Prime Pantry, you can grab single grocery, household and healthcare purchases without having to buy several of them at the same time, just like you would at the store.
Amazon charges a flat $5.99 shipping fee for each Prime Pantry “box” that you fill (each item fills a small percentage of the box). But, each month, they have many items that they offer to ship free when you buy 5, exclusive to Amazon Prime members (free trial here).
On top of that, many regular items you purchase from Amazon, often have an option to choose FREE no-rush shipping with the benefit of receiving a FREE $5 Prime Pantry credit (you can use 1 per order). I just confirmed that you can stack the free Prime Pantry shipping for select products with the $5 credit you have in your account from a previous no rush shipping Amazon order, making for some nice savings!
I choose 5 items from the free Prime Pantry shipping section and my $5 credit was also applied, so I got 5 items for just $11.58 shipped, so just $2.31 an item!
Here’s what I grabbed:
Heinz Organic Tomato Ketchup, 32 Ounce $3.98 $2.31 after discount!
3Â IZZE Fortified Sparkling Juice, Apple, 4 ct. $3.04 $2.31 each after discount!
Annie’s Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks, Summer Strawberry, 5 Pouches (for my kiddos Easter baskets!) $3.48 $2.31 after discount!
Each of these items was already discounted lower than what they normally sell for, so with my $5 credit I’m happy with the deals I got (especially since I didn’t have to leave the house).
