I’ve been enjoying the flavorful and fragrant spices from Spicely, so I was excited when they reached out to try a new product of theirs, OrganicMeal.
About OrganicMeal
OrganicMeal, a plant based heat and eat meal, was developed to offer a high protein option that’s plant based. Most plant-based meals are high in carbohydrates and low in protein. I know I’ve run into that problem when I try to swap vegetarian dishes in place of meat, it just ends up being a heavy meal with very little protein. Not with OrganicMeal though. OrganicMeal packets contain 20 grams of protein, derived from pea protein and chickpeas. They are also high in fiber, 7 grams per packet, dropping the net carbs to just 16 grams.
OrganicMeal is also high in iron. It contains 50% of the recommended daily value, making it a great option for vegans, as iron sources are harder to find with a meat-free diet. OrganicMeal is packed with Omega-3s, containing 1180-1260 mg. per packet.
My Experience with OrganicMeal
I got to try all 4 of OrganicMeal’s flavors including lemon, tomato basil, garlic and roasted bell pepper. All were super flavorful, with just the right blend of herbs and spices. I just added the packet to a cup of water and microwaved it for 3 minutes and it was ready to serve. You can also choose to cook it on the stovetop and it’s ready in 5-10 minutes.
OrganicMeal is very versatile. I enjoyed mixing it with brown rice noodles for a delicious, quick pasta. It’s also really good as a dip for crackers, vegetables and pita bread. Or, you can even eat it on its own. Topping riced cauliflower or zucchini noodles with it, would be another great way to enjoy OrganicMeal.
It’s so refreshing to have a delicious, high protein, vegan meal option with clean, non-GMO, organic ingredients. There are no artificial flavors, just organic chickpea, organic pea protein, some with organic tomato and onion, and organic spices.
You can try single packets of OrganicMeal or buy a case of 10. Check out all 4 flavors here.
I was provided products and compensated for this review, however, all opinions are my own.
I can’t find this online anywhere..when I google it, it comes up as organic meal delivery. Where do I find this?
