I found a new product at my Trader Joe’s! They just started carrying a Trader Joe’s version of gluten-free bread. They offer both whole grain and white gluten-free bread.
I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I’m not super impressed by the price. A loaf costs $4.49. That’s just $.50 less than the name brand, Udi’s gluten-free, bread that they carry for $4.99, so there’s not a huge price benefit to buy, but the cashier did say it tasted much better than other gluten-free breads.
Have you had a chance to try this bread yet?
Love both gluten free breads. Wish t g were was a store closer to my home. But try to go there once a month!
Good to hear, I’ll have to pick up a loaf next time I’m there!
(RE: whole-grain version)
Its the best- tasting/textured GF sandwich bread out there – (and not all potato starch). The price sucks as it does for all GF products but my daughter with celiac can now have a sandwich and not just sandcrumble with peanut butter.
Thank you as always Trader Joe’s!
(if anyone knows the true source of this bread please let me know! I am terrified of the day TJ’s no longer carries it).
