Have you tried these money saving tips that I’ve shared to save on organic meats, produce, dairy and more without having to use coupons??
Two Healthy Savings Tips to SaveĀ 30-50% off Organic Products without using Coupons
- Check the Manager Markdown section for meats, produce, dairy, etc. that’s expiring. A lot of times organic products are included in these sections over conventional products as less people by organic.
- While it’s good to check the markdown section, often times (like pretty much every trip I make to my local grocer), foods that are close to expiration are missed, and not placed in the markdown section. I like to search through the organic meat and dairy section and find foods that expire within 3 days or less. I then take the productĀ to that department manager/employee and ask for a discount. They are almost always happy to offer a discount, as they’ll have to throw away the food if it expires before they sell it. Also, check the organic produce section for ripe bananas, bruised fruits, or bagged produce that are close to expiration and ask for a discount.Ā
I usually save 30-50% off by following these money saving organic tips and I’ve never had a request turned down. Today, I saved $27 on 2 organic grass-fed roasts, 2 organic grass-fed steaks and Silk dairy free yogurt just by following these tips!

If I can add something to that, Stop & Shop is a great place to check for those markdowns – yes, even on organic! One time, I checked the markdown section and they had bags of organic green beans for $1 – they were on sale that very week in the regular rack for $4 – it pays to check your markdowns, baby! š
That’s awesome, thanks for sharing!
