WaterWipes Chemical-Free Baby Wipes Review
Have you ever checked the ingredients in your baby wipes? Even if you’re using natural wipes, take a look at the ingredients. It’s likely you’ll find synthetic chemicals listed (like sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, tocopheryl acetate and others). I’ve been using two different natural baby wipes for almost 4 years now, thankful that they don’t contain as many harmful ingredients as the conventional wipes do, but disappointed that they aren’t 100% natural. As a mom, I want the safest wipes for my little ones, but, what were my options? Even the most natural wipe on the market contains some sort of synthetic ingredient. Then along came a safer wipe, WaterWipes!
Have you heard of these chemical-free wipes? WaterWipes are now available at Target stores, and guess how many ingredients there are? TWO- 99.9% Pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract, a natural skin conditioner and disinfectant. There are no harmful chemicals or preservatives found in WaterWipes.

When I was given the opportunity to review WaterWipes, I was initially thrilled about the ingredient list (or lack thereof), but did they work as well as other wipes? So, I took a trip to Target to grab some and easily found WaterWipes in the baby department on the top shelf of the wipes aisle (no more having to spend time in the crowded wipes aisle comparing ingredients!). There were two options, a package with 60 wipes (which is great for throwing in the car or diaper bag as it’s resealable), or the value pack, filled with 4 packs of WaterWipes, totaling 240 wipes. I picked up two of the smaller packs to try out and put them to the test, as I have my fair share of wipes usage in this house with two little ones.
I was very happy with the quality of the wipe. It’s very durable, but still soft which is important to me as my 1 year old has sensitive skin. I’ve used another natural brand that’s too rough on the skin, so I’m impressed by the softness of this wipe. I also like that I can easily tear it in half, which helps me go through less wipes, saving money. They clean up well and because of the size of the wipe, you can use 1 wipe to clean up quite a bit. These are good not only for diaper changes, but also cleaning up messes in the car or house, washing hands and face on the go or disinfecting swings, high chairs, restaurant tables, etc. when out. There’s no strong scent, like with other wipes. Usually fragrance is added to cover up the chemical smell but that’s not needed with these chemical-free wipes.
Overall, I’m very excited about using WaterWipes in my home and will be a returning customer. I recommend trying them out for yourself.
