Woohoo! Amazon has rolled out the Amazon Prime program at more Whole Foods store nationwide! It began just in Florida, but now stores in the states of Colorado, Utah, Louisiana, Texas, Idaho, Oklahoma, parts of California and 6 others in blue can participate in the discount program.
Effective now, Whole Foods stores in these states are now offering up 10% off discounts on hundreds of items each week for Amazon Prime members. Everything with a yellow sales tag is an extra 10% off for Prime members. Just download the Whole Foods app and show the barcode at checkout. I downloaded the app, and it’s handy to have as they also list some of the items that you can receive a discount on. They also offer special discounts each week for Prime members, in addition to the 10% off.
Now, these discounts are only available for Prime members, and you must download the Whole Foods app and show the barcode in order to get the discount. They will roll this program out nationwide over the summer.
You can still use manufacturer coupons, so if you stick to only buying sale items that have a matchable manufacturer coupon, you can save more.
If you’re not a Prime member, but you are a frequent Whole Foods shopper, you may consider signing up either for a year membership or monthly. You can sign up for a free 30 day trial here.
And, don’t forget, Prime members can buy Whole Foods 365 Brand products on Amazon, starting at just $.79!
