Zest Tea offers several energy beverage options including their loose tea, tea bags and canned energy drinks. Zest has more caffeine than a cup of coffee but is balanced with the amino acid L-theanine. L-theanine promotes a steady alertness keeping you from crashing. There are even B-vitamins added to their some of their energy drinks, for an extra boost of all-day energy.
I love that they have a no sugar option. Zest Zero is their canned energy drink with 0 grams of sugar. It’s sweetened with stevia.
Zest tea bags and loose tea contain no added sugar. Their sparkling teas come in 6 different flavors: Passionfruit Berry, Spiced Chai Infusion, Pomegranate Mint, Blackberry Lime, Blood Orange Mango, and Cucumber Melon. You can also choose from 6 different loose tea and tea bag flavors.
My Experience with Zest Tea
I got to try all flavors of the Zest sparkling tea along with their Pomegranate Mojito and Superberry Samba tea bags and loose tea. The canned energy drinks were really light and refreshing with a slight sweetness. I don’t like overly sweet drinks, and this wasn’t overly sweet. It had great flavor and just enough sweetness. I love the Zest Zero option as it has no added sugar. My husband and I were trying the drinks when my kids of course had to have some, too! They both loved the drinks, which says something as they are usually pretty picky.
It’s starting to cool down here a little in central Florida so it’s the perfect time to brew up a cup of Zest tea. I still miss having coffee in the mornings so I really like having the option of a hot energy drink with their loose tea and tea bags. Plus, it’s delicious without the extra calories I would add to coffee with cream and sugar. Their flavors are so unique and tasty.
I didn’t have any jitters or crashing like I did when I drank coffee.
